To Our Valued Customers, As you know, Costume Specialists is committed to providing quality service at competitive prices. Escalating fuel prices have had the most significant impact on the economy in 2008. As a result shipping companies have been adding fuel surcharges to every shipment throughout the year. These surcharges have more than doubled in price within the course of a year. We have made every effort to keep our prices down for our customers by absorbing the additional costs in the hope that these escalating surcharges would stabilize. Unfortunately, this has not happened and does not appear to show signs of slowing anytime soon.

Costume Specialists has not increased prices since 2003. At this time, we are forced to increase our flat rate shipping charge on 2nd day shipping to $140.00. This increase will be effective for all new reservations booked after October 15th. Any reservations that were booked before this date will be honored at the existing rate of $120.00. We will continue to review this situation on a quarterly basis and adjust our pricing accordingly.
